Boys hockey championships face off this week
Northview Heights Secondary School from North York beat out Northern Secondary School North Toronto 4-3 at East York Arena.
In the other quarterfinal game at East York Arena, Humberside Collegiate from Bloor West Village beat York Mills Collegiate from North York 8-3.
The two other quarterfinal games were played at North York's Herb Carnegie Arena, and saw Etobicoke Collegiate beat Sir John A. Macdonald Collegiate of Scarborough 8-2; and Sir Oliver Mowat Collegiate from Scarborough defeat Richview Collegiate of Etobicoke 8-2.
The semifinals will be held on Wednesday and the city championship game will be on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Herb Carnegie Arena.
