A pity that safety audit sparked by murder
I find it very interesting that all of a sudden the city is going to investigate the deplorable conditions of the buildings on Victoria Park now that someone has been murdered there.
The condition of those buildings is apparent and has been apparent for years, even from the street passing by. I can bet that the residents of those buildings have been complaining to the landlord for some time with no gratification.
Why does it have to take someone being murdered to attract attention to the way people are living in this city? There are apartment buildings all over this city that are infested with bed bugs, rats, mice, cockroaches and degenerates.
Maybe the city should follow up on some of the complaints they are getting and follow through with all of them to the end, not just the ones that attract media attention.
