Agincout Collegiate grad Arjei Franklin has had a great start to his CFL career, now in it's third year as a receiver for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, but until last Friday's game, there was one thing missing - a touchdown.

His first major was a real beauty, actually the longest reception of his CFL career from QB Kevin Glenn - a first-half, 73-yard combined reception and run for a touchdown.

It helped lift the host Blue Bombers to a 30-23 win over the Edmonton Eskimos.

Franklin, who went from Agincourt to become the University of Windsor's all time leading receiver, is having another good year for Winnipeg with 40 catches for 520 yards, good for a 13-yard average.

Throughout his CFL career, now at 43 games, he's hauled in 92 catches for 1,133 yards, his longest catch was previously a 61-yarder.
