Volunteers

CARE TEAM VOLUNTEERS (18 and older) for Hospice Toronto to provide companionship, support, practical assistance and caregiver relief to individuals living with a life-threatening illness. Registered Massage Therapist volunteers (21 and older) are needed to give gentle massage to palliative clients. All volunteers would be providing service at the client's home during weekday days. VHA HOME HEALTHCARE provides in-home support, looking for parent relief volunteers. Visit once weekly for three hours in the family's home. Volunteers will engage in infant stimulation, plan and organize activities, provide information on community resources available to parents and complete a monthly report.
